  • How about an input box next to the comment entry textarea that needs the correct post number to be entered confirming which post a specific string of text belongs to. Make it just the right length of text and posters will be forced to do more than just scan read the thread.

  • As a license fee payer, I have no objections to the BBC continuing it's web-presence. It's starting to feel slightly dated and could do with a redesign and an overhaul.

  • "Spaz" or "spastic" has, sadly, long been used as a derogatory term. Regardless of the intent, to refer to someones unusual behaviour by using a descriptive term of another's permanent physical condition, is simply wrong and unsurprisingly, likely to cause offense.

  • I agree with Adam re the price differential being an issue. Apple, quite rightly, is retaining the low volume, high margin model, figuring there are enough people prepared to pay for quality to allow healthy profits, versus the pile them high, sell them cheap alternative.

  • George Galloway Oil Documents "found" by the Daily Telegraph for example. The veracity of documents that might have circulated within Saddam's regime is now very hard to acertain.
